Total amount of the grant for redistributionIn the present call, the Foundation will distribute up to EUR 70,000 to successful 2 or 3 applicants, provided that enough projects meeting the call’s quality requirements are submitted.

What kind of projects are eligible for funding?

  1. implementation of an integrated research programme
  2. further development of existing high-quality scientific activity
  3. analytical support for research projects
  4. financing for researchers’ study visits in Slovakia and abroad
  5. doctoral studies at domestic and foreign universities
  6. establishment of innovative scientific areas and methods
  7. stronger linking of science and research with their practical applications
  8. popularisation of economic and financial science

Which areas are eligible for support?

Research projects can be in any field of economic and financial science. Preference will, however, be given to projects on the following topics:

  1. transmission of monetary policy and the transmission of inflationary pressures through the behaviour of households and businesses
  2. macroprudential policy and the real estate market
  3. heterogeneity in price dynamics, in the corporate sector, in the labour market and in
  4. population ageing, migration, and labour market dynamics
  5. economic and financial consequences of climate change

Who is eligible to apply for a grant?

  1. public research institutions
  2. public, state or private higher education institutions
  3. non-profit organisations, civic associations, and associations of legal persons conducting research and development
  4. foreign institutions of a similar nature to those listed above
  5. doctoral students on behalf of an applicant to those listed above
  6. scientific researchers on behalf of an applicant to those listed above or on their own behalf as natural persons
